Goals for 2012

I am so grateful for all of your taking the time out in your day to read, post and follow my blog. Big thanks to Rabid Outdoorsman for helping to get me reinvested by interviewing me and helping to introducing me to all of you!

One of my goals for this blog in 2012 is to get (and publish) an interview with the Commish of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife in Maine, Chandler Woodcock. I had Mr. Woodcock as my English teacher freshman year of high school and we usually run into each other every couple of years and catch up. So – I would LOVE to know what questions you think I should ask him! Im making a list but I want you to have buy in as well.

And what are your goals for 2012?

I wish you all a very happy and safe New Year!

  1. most of my goals revolve around getting outside more. the more fun i have outdoors, the better my blog posts should be! Also, this summer, my coursework for my bach. degree should finally be complete…after years and years…finally! this should give me more free time throughout the week to get outside more.

  2. Also, at the ripe old age of 31, i wan't to finally figure what I want to be when I grow up.

  3. We need snow here and then I want to be outside snowshoeing, snowmobiling and skiing. But until there is snow… I also want to redo my floors in my house and make over my office. And get Chandler to do an interview with me. I think thats good for 2012 = )

Congrats Tom on being soclose to getting your degree!!!

Bear hunting can be exhausting

I need to start by thanking my friend Staci and her husband for making this happen. They helped to get the bait site up and running.  Staci was as determined as I was to get me a bear. Everyone should be so lucky as to have a hunting partner like her!   The 2021...
